The usual mistake
RE: Microsoft Studios’ Adam Orth’s comments. It never ceases to amaze that the more successful a console manufacturer becomes, the more arrogant it becomes. Guaranteed every time. Have Microsoft’s employees learnt nothing from Sony’s mistakes? Or even Nintendo’s past mistakes for that matter? Today’s console success doesn’t guarantee success for your next console, especially if you don’t consider the consumer.
Sony now seem to be going out of their way to make their new console developer and player-friendly, with ex-Naughty Dog/Insomniac Games designer/programmer Mark Cerny being the PlayStation 4’s system architect, and also not demanding an always-online connection (of course, it remains to be seen whether or not individual developers might demand it, which would put a whole…
